We are getting along just fine here in Spotsylvania County, VA. Mitchell is still enjoying school, guitar lessons, skateboarding and hanging out doing "kid stuff". He still loves his dirt bikes and especially drawing. Take at look at what he drew from memory Easter Sunday (yes, while in church). He's happy to be getting outside to ride his bike, rollerblade, skateboard, play golf and hang out with the neighborhood brood. We're very lucky to live in a neighborhood that is small and has only one way in and out. The kids all know each other as well as the parents. So no one worries too much when the youngsters are outside. All different ages are around and they look out for one another. It's as close to what it was like when we were kids as I think is possible in this day and age. We have been running off to the beach about once a month. It's nice to get away even if only for a day or so. George usually has plenty of "maintenance" to do. And as usual, Lisa has plenty of shopping to do and Mitchell has plenty of socializing to do. We have some good friends in NC and it's always nice to get together. Mitchell is friends with several year-round kids on the street and they all get along famously, boys and girl (yep, there's just one). We've been very busy as I'm sure all of you are so please don't be offended if you haven't heard from us lately. I have not been keeping up with this website as I had promised upon inception but I vow to try harder in 2008. Take a look around the site, let me know how it looks and consider going to the Outer Banks for vacation in 2008 or a pre-season getaway weekend to check it out. We are setting some special rates through early June (see the chart on the home page). If this is all too confusing, give us a call and we can discuss options and hopefully work it out so everyone that wants to go gets a chance to make it happen. We're very excited about sharing this dream with our family and friends and we'd really appreciate the business and referrals. Remember, the most wasted of all days is a day without laughter. Have fun and love much. Blessing to everyone. George, Lisa & Mitchell |
